A low vision exam is different from the regular eye exam you would receive from a medical eye care provider. This exam involves determining whether a magnification device or other adaptations can enhance your vision. The information obtained in this type of an exam can help you improve your ability to function if you are affected by eye conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular degeneration or other eye diseases.

Dr. Matchinski will explain what you can expect from your low vision exam and answer your questions regarding certification of legal blindness, driving and more.
