Using Your Screen Reader to Navigate Websites and Fill Out Forms

Thursday, November 12 - 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

All websites are not alike! Some websites practice good accessibility protocols, and others not so much. So when you open up a webpage, where do you start to find what you need?

Just in time for holiday shopping, when you’ll probably be visiting a variety of websites, we are offering this remote learning opportunity to help you get through the tangle of links, buttons and stuff that gets in your way. Using your screen reader and computer, we’ll show you different ways to quickly get around a website.

You’ll learn how to:

  • access an unfamiliar website with quick navigation key commands
  • surf the Internet with helpful key commands that are not well-known
  • interact with forms, tables and elements
  • navigate through and fill out a form field

To join our remote workshop, call our new conference line at 312-809-1004. To register, call our office at 312-236-8569 or email Joe Lee.
