Second Sense - Beyond Vision Loss

Travel Guides, Reviews, and Advice from Blind Travels

Wednesday, May 6 - 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Traveling with vision loss requires planning, and lots of it. Finding a trip you can enjoy with vision loss should feel exciting. Yet, the thought of navigating airports, making connections, and finding your hotel can be exhausting before you even leave home. That is why Blind Travels can be a great resource to plan your next get-away.

Ted Tahquechi is the founder of Blind Travels. As a blind person who travels frequently, he found the information he needed to travel confidently was lacking. His travel resources provide destination reviews, tips, and first-hand advice for travelers with blindness and visual impairment.

We are pleased to welcome Ted to Second Sense to share his travel advice and experiences. Ted will share his personal experiences and provide tips to help you feel confident about your travels.

You’ll discover:

  • inspiration for a meaningful and accessible destination
  • pitfalls to avoid
  • resources, reviews, and tips for a great travel experience

This workshop takes place on Zoom. To receive the Zoom information email email Kathy Austin.
