Using the Chicago area’s public transit system can take you to almost anywhere you want to go. Events, restaurants, museums and shopping are all within a train or bus ride. But learning how the system works can be a bit daunting. The Regional Transportation Authority of Chicago (RTA Chicago) offers a travel training program that helps you become familiar with train stations, bus stops and how everything connects so you can take advantage of all the things our city has to offer.

Kelly Krispinsky, RTA travel trainer and certified orientation and mobility specialist, along with Beth Daley, mobility outreach coordinator from the RTA, share how the program works and how you can benefit. You will learn about:

  • What services are included in RTA’s Travel Training program
  • How to plan a trip
  • How to sign up for travel training with the RTA
