Pace Ride Share Access Program: Affordable Rides on Your Terms

Monday, May 20 - 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm

For those of you who travel throughout the city of Chicago and suburbs, and are a certified RTA ADA paratransit rider, we have good news for you!

Pace has implemented a new program, the Ride Share Access Program (RAP). This program provides a subsidy to use either Uber or UZURV to travel to a destination that is within Pace’s ADA paratransit service area. For an initial $2.00 fee, Pace will cover the cost of the ride up to $30.

To help us better understand the details of the RAP service and how it affects those who use the Taxi Access Program (TAP), we are happy to welcome Christine Rose , community relations representative from Pace. Christine will provide all the details of these new programs, including information on riding free on Pace fixed route buses.

Christine will share:

  • beginnings of this ride share program
  • RAP service area
  • eligibility requirements
  • RAP versus TAP
  • application process
