Non-24 Hour Sleep-Wake Disorder: Education and Discussion

For those with total or partial vision loss, you can be affected with Non-24 Hour Sleep -Wake Disorder. This disorder can wreak havoc in your life resulting in nighttime sleep depravation and daytime sleepiness. It is caused when circadian rhythms fail to synch up with a 24-hour day.

This educational presentation is led by Jennifer Lyman, R.N. She is a specially trained nurse educator and patient advocate. Ms. Lyman shares information about the characteristics of this rare condition and how it impacts the people affected and those around them. You are encouraged to bring your questions to this discussion. Ms. Lyman is also available for one-on-one telephone conversations after the presentation.
