Are you finding it difficult to connect with other men who are also blind or have low vision? Sometimes it can be hard to find your peers who are experiencing the feelings of stress and frustration that come with adjusting to decreased vision. The loss of a job, threat of losing one, or having to depend on others for assistance, can feel especially heavy on your mind and emotions.
Our new men’s support group is a place where you can feel welcome and understood as you navigate this way of life. Led by Taurus Smith, CVRT, you can share your story, pick up a tip or two, and find encouragement to move forward. You’ll make some new friends, too. All are welcome to join, no matter your age or level of vision.
