Money doesn’t always buy happiness, but it sure helps! Having a positive money mind set can help you achieve your goals. You may want to maintain a stable financial foundation to pay for basic necessities or have enough for the fun things like a vacation or a new piece of assistive technology. Having a positive mindset about money and the knowledge to manage it correctly, can go a long way in getting you where you want to go.
We are excited to offer you the opportunity to not only feel better about your financial future, but also provide you with the tools and resources to get you on stable financial footing.
Join us for a two part financial wellness and literacy program with Rachel Christian, certified educator in personal finance and founder of Unseen Wealth. Rachel, who is also visually impaired, has a deep understanding of how difficult it is to become financially stable. Her passion now is to share what she learned on her own road to financial freedom.
Many people have negative feelings about money. Feelings of shame, embarrassment and anxiety can be a hindrance to helping you achieve your financial goals. This four session coaching series will help challenge your negative emotions about money. In a supportive, non-judgmental environment, you can discuss your financial goals to help you develop a positive money mind set.
Discover your money scripts — how our values and beliefs influence and shape our relationship with money. We’ll explore the impact family and our childhood can have on our financial behavior as an adult.
Practice being aware of your financial activities without judgment or emotional reactions. This involves being conscious of where your money is going, understanding your financial habits, and making deliberate decisions instead of impulsive ones.
Learn ways to set goals and keep them front of mind. We’ll talk about Identifying the common roadblocks that can slow down progress. You’re welcome to share your goals with the group to receive feedback and support.
Explore why we tend to avoid uncomfortable aspects of our finances. You can learn from positive money role models and improve how we communicate about money with others.
Rachel takes you on a deep dive into a wide variety of topics on how to create a stable financial future. You can learn about budgeting, debt management, credit scores and more. You’ll receive resources and tips with plenty of time for questions.
