Prevent Blindness, a leading national nonprofit organization on vision and eye health, has developed an innovative program to empower patients to be a voice in their eye health. A.S.P.E.C.T. stands for advocacy, support, perspective, empowerment, communication and training with the goal of engaging individuals in their eye health from all directions.

We are excited to welcome Julie Grutzmacher, director of national collaboration and engagement at Prevent Blindness, to share all the unique facets of the A.S.P.E.C.T. program.
