I retired from a 35-year career in dental hygiene, due to vision loss, and decided it was time to paint. A trip to Hawaii was all I needed to be inspired.
My keyhole vision allows me to focus and feast my eyes, embossing images into my mind. What ‘details’ I cannot see are inscribed with rich whimsy and vivid color.
I use lines to create a composition, a doorway in. My guide dog is my muse and companion in artistic endeavors!
