I was born in New York City and moved to California at the age of six where I have lived ever since.
Due to Optic Nerve Atrophy, a congenital vision impairment, I learned to read and write using a closed circuit TV (CCTV) system, which I now use to create my art. My earliest memories are of drawing, which allowed me the sense of doing the things my limited sight, and height, prevented.
My work is inspired by the humor in the multiple meanings of ordinary language and symbols. I create to give my eyes something they can get their hands on.
