I was born in New York but moved to California at the age of six where I have lived ever since. Due to congenital vision impairment, I learned to read and write with a closed circuit TV system, which I now use to create my art. I believe that it is only natural that my vision would have an impact on my being an artist. When you can’t do certain things, you have to get creative. Now, I find humor in ordinary language and symbols which inspires my work. I believe that I intend puns for a living.
