“Now I see it, Now I don’t” …this is my world of optical vision. Over the years I’ve grown to “befriend” my limitation of 5 degree tunnel vision resulting from progressive Retinitis Pigmentosa.
I’ve come to respect and enjoy my creative art expression in varied methods. Beautiful, bright colors excite my remaining retina.
I can define visual dimension and edges with suggestive dance of tilting and strategically blending alcohol ink colors (Underwater Cave).
My blindness is enriches with actual tactile dimension to be touched and explored by hand (Snow on Tree Bark).
My art allows me to see expression from within, without limitations.
