Welcome to Vision Exchange!

Second Sense knows how important community-based support groups are for adults with vision loss.
Vision Exchange is a professional group for support group leaders. We are committed to helping you make your group a strong resource for your members.
Vision Exchange provides support and training to support group leaders:
- Phone and email consultations with our vision rehabilitation therapists. Are you a new group leader and have questions about group facilitation? Do you struggle to find low vision resources and speakers? Do you want to understand what rehabilitation training is and where to find it? Are you having trouble addressing difficult topics and issues with challenging members? Contact us for help dealing with these issues!
- Facilitated workshops on low vision topics for support groups in Cook, DuPage and Lake counties. Our professional staff can provide training workshops for your group members. Read about some of the options here.
- Membership in the online peer-support group, made up of over 120 low vision support group leaders. Post questions, share ideas and receive resources through email.
- Access to all the online resources we have compiled to help you. Check our our large print handouts, tip sheets for teaching daily living skills and how-to videos!
