Hands on keyboard with folded white cane on desk.Often times, writing about your experiences can help you process emotions and come to terms with them. Whether you want to explore those feelings, share an important story with family and friends or are looking to go on to publish a memoire, you won’t want to miss our informative discussion with John Erickson.

John is a retired, registered investment advisor and bond fund manager who is the author of What I Saw When I Went Blind. His book tells the story of him losing most of his sight as a teen and his journey through high school, college and career.

John’s informative talk is an excellent introduction for anyone who is interested in learning about the process of writing through publishing.

John will share his experience of:

  • writing a draft,
  • editing his manuscript,
  • publishing his final product and
  • marketing his book.

To register, call our front desk at 312-236-8569 or email Kathy Austin.
