Tap into your inner thoughts about what it is like to live with vision loss in this creative writing workshop. You’ll receive inspiration, gain feedback on your writing and share your writing with the group.
In this three-session workshop, we are excited to welcome professional writers, Jeff Flodin, Al De Genova and Stella De Genova who will guide you through the writing process.
- Session one: Jeff Flodin, published author, blogger and creator of Jalapenos in the Oatmeal, explains what these workshops are about, what they will accomplish and what writing is all about.
- Session Two: Al De Genova: Poet, After Hours magazine editor and writing workshop facilitator, provides thought-provoking readings and writing exercises to jump start your creative mind and offers expert advice on improving your writing.
- Session Three: Polly Abbott, CVRT, Director of Rehabilitation Services, and Stella De Genova, artist and Vision Through Words founder, will help process and explore your stories and writings.
Whether a beginner or experienced writer, as long as you can use a computer with little assistance, you are welcome to participate.
To register, email Polly Abbott or call 312-236-8569.
