Don’t want to spend time and money taking a pair of slacks to the dry cleaners to fix a hem? Can’t wear that shirt because it’s missing a button? You can learn easy adaptations to make simple repairs to clothing at our Stitch-It-Up sewing class.
If you have given up sewing because of vision loss, we can teach you the skills to meet your goals.
This weekly workshop can teach you how to:
- thread a needle,
- sew on a button,
- repair a hem or tear and
- measure with adaptive techniques.
To learn more and to register, call our front desk or email Polly Abbott.
