What is braille and how does it work? Our interactive workshop answers your questions and addresses common misconceptions about braille. We’ll talk about how braille is learned and the ways it can help someone with vision loss. You’ll also have an opportunity to experience reading braille!

Our braille workshop will answer questions like:

  • What constitutes the braille code?
  • When is it time to learn braille?
  • What is the process for learning braille and what is involved?
  • How does braille increase independence for someone with vision loss?
  • Where can I find more information about braille?
