Adaptive Adventures: Try Something New and Expand Your Horizons

Monday, April 22 - 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Want to challenge yourself and get out of your comfort zone? Adaptive sports can be a great way to get outdoors, meet new people and improve your quality of life! And in the process, you’ll also improve your fitness level and increase your confidence.

We are excited to welcome Jason Stubbeman, program director from Adaptive Adventures. Adaptive Adventures partners with over 180 organizations in 40 states. Together they provide clinics, programs and camps on a variety of sports including cycling, climbing, dragon boat racing, kayaking, rafting and both water and snow skiing. Jason will share ways you can connect with Adaptive Adventures to try something new and expand your horizons!

You’ll learn:

  • Who Adaptive Adventures serves
  • Where you can find programs and activities
  • What sports are offered and the adaptations for each
  • What benefits you gain by participating
