Polly, under blindfold, demonstrates her technique to the 1Touch instructorOften, people with vision loss feel vulnerable when out and about conducting their daily activities. At Second Sense, we are excited to include the 1Touch Self Defense course as a part of our regular programming to help empower individuals with vision loss to feel increased self-confidence and independence.

The 1Touch Self Defense course is specifically designed for people with vision loss. No prior martial arts experience is required.

The 1Touch course can help enhance your:

  • spacial orientation,
  • dexterity,
  • tactile sensitivity, and
  • mobility.

Course options:

Thursday class:
Meets Thursdays from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm for six weeks.

Saturday Class:
Meets the second Saturday of the month from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm for six months. Preference for the Saturday class is given to those who work or cannot attend during weekdays.

Please note: Space is limited for these classes, however, as this course is an ongoing program, wait lists will be created for future classes.
