Second Sense Offers Men’s Only Cooking Class

Chicago, January 20, 2012 -- Second Sense will offer a four session cooking skills class specifically for men. The Men’s Cooking Class will take place on Wednesdays starting January 25th 2012 and extend through February 15th 2012. Students will work directly with Polly Abbot, the rehabilitation specialist at Second Sense, to learn essential skills for preparing a variety of foods safely.

Workshop participants will become more confident and comfortable in the kitchen as they learn knife safety and cutting skills, measuring and pouring techniques, cooking with an electric skillet and flipping food items to cook them evenly

To learn more about the Men’s Only Cooking Class or to register for a future session, please contact Polly Abbot at Second Sense, 312-236-8569.
